Topics:
"Clinical Pearls for Your Practice"
with Dr Neal Kravitz
and
“Creating a Digital Workflow for In-Office Aligners” with Dr Steven Cohen

Jackie Kennedy is famously quoted as saying that, “Pearls are always appropriate.” The same could be said about sharing orthodontic clinical pearls; who doesn’t love picking up invaluable tidbits and ruminations hidden within a lecture? After all, these clinical pearls are often the easiest to take home and immediately implement into our practices. This November, Dr. Neal Kravitz, who has long exhibited a passion to share his clinical ideas with other orthodontists, will present to our society his many clinical pearls gained over years of practice. Dr. Kravitz is a Diplomat of the American Board of Orthodontics, member of the Edward Angle Honor Society, and Associate Editor for the Journal of Clinical Orthodontics. He is a graduate of Columbia University and received his D.M.D. at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Kravitz lectures throughout the country and internationally on treatment planning, biomechanics, practice management, and ethics, quickly building a reputation as one of the country's most dynamic speakers.

In his lecture, Dr Kravitz will address, among other learned pearls, his tips for retention, Phase 1 treatment, managing challenging patients, and treating ectopic teeth. Be ready for fun and fast paced presentation, chock full useful of clinical pearls!

Consistent with the subject matter of unearthing practical improvements for our practices, our own fellow board member, Dr Steven Cohen will follow Dr Kravitz’s lecture with a discussion on implementing 3D printing workflows in the office. Dr. Cohen has been practicing orthodontics in the Philadelphia region for over two decades, is a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontists, and a member of the teaching faculty at Albert Einstein Medical Center Department of Dental Medicine in Philadelphia. Whether you have experience with 3D printing, or are just intrigued by this growing office technology, it is sure to be an informative, practical and relevant learning event!
